Italian refugio.

Dolomiti, Italy, 2024.

Traversing ancient geology.

Near to the Alps massif lie the Dolomiti, an old Italian mountain range. Spread out across an enormous area, there is no clear path. An abundance of high altitude lakes, extraordinary viewpoints and refugio’s make up the whole chain.

A patchwork of ridges and valleys lay across the Dolomiti National Park. Trails from all sides run up towards steep abysses, rock needles and eroded mountain peaks. Take your climbing gear and snowboots along.

In whichever direction you look, one can’t get enough of the panoramics in these parts.
